Spikenard
Spikenard is the perfect mixture of herbs like white and red Sandalwood, Sungandhi Bal, Clove Cardamom, Spikenard that is extracted from the plants of high Himalayan region. It is lit at temples, drawing rooms and stupas for aromatic ambiance.
Incense ropes are made by hand in a process that involves bundling the ingredients in a special hand prepared rice paper, then rolling and twisting it into a small rope-like braided form. The rope should be burnt in a marble or metal dish, or on an ash bed, a special incense burner. This rope type of incense can produce a substantial amount of smoke, and it can quickly overpower a small room so use sparingly.
One bundle contains 50 incense ropes, 11cm long each. Time of burning one rope is approximately 15min.

Instead of Palo Santo sticks which have to be lit then extinguished, because of the heavy smoke, meaning they need relighting to keep the scent going.
These ropes smolder without relighting and burn to the end without the heavy smoke
